Allen Tool Phoenix opened for operations in 1991 with the vision of becoming a supplier within the Aerospace industry.

Allen Tool has grown to become the largest supplier ( % of outsourced parts ) to a major aerospace company. People are the key to this process. Allen Tool Phoenix prides itself in employing toolmakers who continually learn and utilize the benefits of CNC production. Our toolmakers maintain high performance levels through continuous monitoring of their process and driving improvements at their level.

Allen Tool Phoenix has developed a process certification program in response to its aerospace requirements. This program utilizes SPC charts to track key process outputs, various statistical methods to analyze process performance, & Cpk to assess process capability. Key process inputs are controlled using a process control plan & a combination of route sheets, tool lists, set up sheets, in process drawings, and controlled CNC Programs.

Shop personnel are supported by :

• A continually improving Quality system that is based on ISO 9001:2000 standard
• The latest MASTERCAM CAD/CAM system with UG and Pro E converters
• A Total Preventive Maintenance Program
• A Critical Concerns Committee ( made up of 50% shop personnel ) whose goal is to ”achieve” continuous improvement everywhere
